Rashmi Jain is an award-winning Chief Information Officer with over 25 years of experience leading IT strategy, driving digital transformation, and delivering management consulting services focused on optimizing systems, people, and processes. She is currently working as a fractional CEO for ARC VRx, an innovative startup launching an AR/VR app to provide therapy to TBI patients using the patented Harkins method. Known for fostering organizational growth through innovative technology solutions, she excels at transforming IT from a cost center into a revenue generator. Her expertise spans product design, managing large-scale projects, overseeing substantial budgets, and leading cross-functional teams to success.

At Careington International Corporation, where she served as CIO from 1999-2024, she played a pivotal role in expanding IT and Operations from 2 employees to a dynamic team of 150 in-house professionals and over 200 offshore resources. She was instrumental in the company’s growth from a single entity to four distinct companies, centralizing IT and Operations functions across areas like discount healthcare product management, provider network management, direct-to-consumer digital platforms, claims payment systems, and telehealth platforms. Ms. Jain was responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all phases of Careington’s strategic information systems, including hardware, software, security, and web initiatives. She transformed the Information Systems department into a strategic partner, building scalable IT systems to support business objectives, increase efficiencies, minimize risk, and drive overall company success.

Ms. Jain holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Delhi University, an MBA in Information Systems and Healthcare from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a master’s degree in cybersecurity from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the DFW Alliance of Technology and Women and the CIO Dallas Forum. She has been recognized in the Dallas Business Journal’s 2020 Minority Leadership Awards and 2023 Women in Technology Awards and was a finalist for the 2021 and 2022 Tech Titan Emerging Company CIO/CTO Awards, as well as the 2022 and 2023 Dallas CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards.
