Ken Piddington is recognized for his visionary leadership and strategic acumen in the realm of
information technology. As a Chief Information Officer, he has championed initiatives that foster
innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ken’s leadership style is characterized
by a commitment to empowering teams, driving change, and delivering measurable results. His
contributions have not only advanced the technological capabilities of his organizations but also
positioned them as leaders in their respective industries.

Ken is the Chief Digital & Information Officer at RelaDyne, overseeing digital and business
technology strategies. Previously, he was VP & CIO at U.S. Silica and CIO at Global Partners
LP, SGR Energy, and MRE Consulting. At U.S. Silica, he designed an “Uber-like” logistics
platform for over 35K monthly truck deliveries. He helped Global Partners’ revenue grow from
$6 billion to $20 billion in four years. SGR Energy saw a 1700% revenue increase and was
named Houston’s fastest-growing privately held company. At MRE, Ken turned an internal
project into a new revenue-generating product.

Ken serves on the board of directors for the Quest Oracle User Community and is a board
member of the Friends of Energy Institute, supporting the Energy Institute High School. Ken is
also a faculty member with IANS Research and mentors and coaches in various leadership
development programs.
In 2022, Ken received the Houston CIO of the Year Orbie award. He has been named a
Computerworld Premier 100 Technology leader, is a CIO100 award winner, and has twice been
recognized as an InformationWeek 500 Top Technology Innovator. Ken frequently speaks at
business and association conferences and is featured in multiple media publications.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Leadership from Northeastern University
and attended Graceland College, where he participated in football and baseball. Today, Ken
resides in Houston, Texas.
