Jesse brings 25 plus years of information technology executive and management consultant with focus on driving business transformation with technology, data privacy, cyber & infosec, program and project management and governance across a variety of industries. His expertise includes security, infrastructure, cloud transformation, information privacy, business continuity/disaster recovery, governance organizations and frameworks, risk and compliance. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor of Management at several universities where he teaches in both the business and technololgy programs.
Summary Accomplishments:
· Delivered mutli-layer compliance framework at SteadyIQ, implementing SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA and NIST-800.
· Drove adoption of standard ITIL and COBIT frameworks for Operational Controls
· Drove delivery of an “At Risk” SAP HANA S4 ERP project in first 12 months at Tessco
· Managed a $120M P&L with Tessco’s eCommerce business, delivering an average of 48% margins
· Responsible for defining the strategy for enterprise security and compliance for a $500M Real Estate service firm following the acquisition and convergence of 5 organizations into the LightBox enterprise
· As CIO at Imperial Irrigation & Energy implemented key organizational and governance frameworks alongside security and compliance initiatives to meet the required certifications by Federal Energy and Oversight of Energy (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Department of Defense Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), while also guiding their internal security programs to address the requirements for Department of Homeland Security Cyber-Security US-CERT programs.
· As CIO for Celergy Networks, Jesse drove adoption of 175 client sites onto Cisco’s Healthcare Grade Network, DXC Agility Platform Cloud brokerage, providing access management and single point policy management for multiple cloud environments
Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science Business Info Systems Management from California Lutheran University, a Master of Business Administration from University of the Incarnate Word and Doctor of Business Administration (ABD) from Grenoble Ecole de Management where his research investigated transformational strategy adoption in the Russell 2000 manufacturing sector.
