Amy Phillips is owner and founder of Mikral Consulting, a technology consulting firm specializing in Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Management Consulting. She is also affiliated with Mavendog LLC and Vice President within their Program Leadership and Project & Change Delivery practices.
She is a transformational, global, Information Technology Executive who is passionate about driving successful organizational transformations; developing & executing a winning change strategy; and growing people in a positive, collaborative environment.
Most recently, Amy oversaw a divestiture of the Australasia business of a Company. This entailed carving out over 40 IT Applications and Services.
Prior to consulting, Amy worked for Corning Incorporated for 30 years. Her key roles included: Division CIO for Optical Communications, IT Director Global Application Services, and Director of IT Strategy, Architecture, and Performance Excellence. Her teams spanned North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia with a focus on mentoring and developing leaders to build the future organization.
Amy holds a degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has Certificates of Expertise from MIT Sloan School of Management for Digital Business Strategy and Cornell University for Executive Women in Leadership. She is currently President of the Society of Information Management (SIM) Charlotte, past board chair for SIM Women, and actively supports several STEM non-profit organizations in the Charlotte, NC area.
