Edmund Siy, FHIMSS, FCHIME, CHCIO, CDH-E serves as chief information & technology officer at Bon Secours Mercy Health. He is responsible for global technology strategy & operations including cybersecurity, deployment of artificial intelligence & clinical informatics and implementation throughout the system’s hospitals & clinics in seven-states + Ireland. BSMH also has support capabilities in the Philippines.
Edmund is a 2024 & 2025 Becker’s CIO to Know. He has 20+ years of business accomplishments across multiple industries. Prior to BSMH, he served 4 years as senior vice president, chief digital & information officer at Hunterdon Health (NJ) & 8+ years as vice president, business transformation at Mercy (MO). He started his journey at Time Warner now Warner Bros. Discovery spending 15 years in various global technology leadership roles focused on instantiating shared services programs across the music, filmed entertainment & television divisions.
Edmund received a MA from Gonzaga University. He is active in College of Healthcare Information Management Executive, earning CHCIO (2019), Fellow (2021), CDH-E (2022), CIO Bootcamp graduate (2015) & served on the Policy Steering Committee (2020-2024). He also participates with Healthcare Information Management Systems Society earning Fellow (2018) and served on the National Innovation Committee (2015-17) plus the Midwest Gateway Chapter Board Member (2014-2021) including its president (2016-2017).
